4 Best Swing Trading Books For Learning Trade

by MD Tanjib Forex Trading Author

Swing trading is a trading method in which stock (or other assets) is purchased and held for as little as a day or as long as a few months. Although it is a risky approach, it is less risky than day trading, which includes purchasing and selling an item on the same day.

Swing trading is tough to master, and it is not for those new to investing. We've compiled a list of the best swing trading books to help you learn about swing trading and (hopefully) profit from it.

Best overall: "Mastering the Trade" by John F. Carter

This book is appropriate for novices and those with prior experience in swing trading. The first segment covers fundamentals such as how markets function and how to determine the rationale behind your transactions.

The second piece delves deeper into swing trading in particular. You'll learn about pivot points, scalping, and predicting whether an asset will gain or lose value. The last segment concentrates on real-life events, including guidance and insights from various experienced swing traders.

Best for beginners: "Swing Trading as a Part Time Job" by Brett Brown

Brown deconstructs the fundamental fundamentals of swing trading chapter by chapter. You'll discover how swing trading varies from day trading and position trading and how swing trading, rather than the other two, might help you achieve your individual goals. You'll also learn to pick a broker, trade stock options, and spot patterns on charts.

Best for swing trading technical analysis: "How to Swing Trade" by Brian Bazim

There are several excellent books on technical analysis. Our best option in this area is "How to Swing Trade," which focuses especially on utilizing technical analysis for swing trading. (Some books discuss the general technical analysis and how to apply it to other forms of trading.)

Technical analysis is a method that predicts how a firm will perform in the future based on its historical performance.

This book covers numerous facets of technical analysis, and three of its fifteen chapters are dedicated to distinct aspects of technical analysis.

Best for swing trading psychology: "The New Trading for a Living" by Dr. Alexander Elder

Although this book focuses not only on swing trading, it is an excellent read for anybody interested in swing trading.

Elder begins the book by discussing why you would desire to trade and the lessons you should acquire before trading. He also covers traditional trading themes like market indicators and risk management.

Finally, he concludes the book with advice, tasks, and suggestions to help you progress and become a good trader.

I will stop here even if there is a LOT more to discuss! A LOT! But this is not an ebook and is already a very long post! At least it gave you a few useful tips, I hope. My mission is to help you, and I hope I just did that!
