3,600 applicants invited for Canada PR via Express entry program draw
by Visa Consultant Immigration ExpertThe most recent
invitation through the Canada Express entry draw has issued a whopping 3,600
applicants for permanent residence in Canada. To qualify for this round of draw
the prospective applicants need to get Comprehensive Ranking system scores of
above 459 or above via the Express
Entry program of Canada. There is a decrease of one point in the 459-cutoff
score, as during the previous draw on July 10, had a minimum CRS cut-off score
of 460.
With this
development in the CRS scoring, there has been an alleviation of 250 ITAs or
Invitation to Apply over the 10 all-program Express Entry draws that were conducted between the
time period of January 30 and June 26, and which had a cap of 3,350 ITAs each. This
Canada Express entry
process manages the Express entry profiles of applicants from three
major economic class immigration programs of Canada namely the Federal Skilled
Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class.
Candidates of
the Canada Express entry
program are ranked against the pool of candidates, who have also
submitted their profiles, based on the points they have managed to score on the
Canada Points System. The score distribution and ranking happen as per the
points scored in each of the parameters of age, work experience, educational
qualifications, proficiency in English or French, offer letter from a verified
and eligible employer of Canada as well as other additional adaptability
factors. For you to be eligible to apply, as a prospective candidate you need
to score a minimum of 67 points or higher on the Canada points system via the
ranking tool known as the Canada PR Points calculator.
Only a set of
high scorers in the CRS score system will be send an Invitation to Apply from
the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, to submit their visa
application for Canadian permanent residence within 60 days of the ITA
issuance. They candidates receive their ITAs via regular draws from the pool
and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). This department
processes your visa application for Canada Permanent residence in the time
duration of 6 months.
For skilled
workers there is express
entry program. Another way to apply for Canada PR is through the
Provincial Nominee Program, under which any of the Canadian provinces nominate
a prospective candidate upon them fulfilling the individual labor needs and
requirements of the province. If your chosen occupation of expertise is within
the Canada occupation list
of the province, you have much higher chances of receiving an Invitation to
Apply for permanent residence from the respective Canadian province.
The time span
between these Express
entry draws are vital which can have an effect on the CRS cut-off score.
A lesser span between draws translates in to meaning that fewer applicants have
time to enter their profiles in the Express entry pool of candidates.
