2207 Super Duplex pipes

Super Duplex is an austenitic ferritic iron chromium – nickel alloy with molybdenum addition. Super duplex pipes are extremely resistant against pitting. They have an improved tensile strength and have a higher corrosion cracking resistance at moderate temperatures compared to that of a normal duplex steel pipes. Super duplex steel pipes also have an impeccable resistance to erosion corrosion. The main and most pre-eminent feature of super duplex steel pipes is that it has very high mechanical strength. It is also proven that welding can be done with more ease on a super duplex steel pipe than a normal duplex pipe.From the introduction of its first-generation, super duplex steel pipeshave seen a steady increase in popularity.

Super Duplex Pipes : Type

There are two types of super Super Duplex Pipes that are manufactured at instinox they are :

·         Seamless superSuper Duplex Pipes :A seamless super duplex stainless steel pipe is manufactured from solid round billets, thus there are no welding or joints.

·         Welded super Super Duplex Pipes :Welded super Super Duplex Pipes are pipes that are brought to a union by applying high levels of heat or by applying accelerated pressure.
