Do the math correctly
Do the math correctly.
Some guy wrote an article "Do the math escape the wrath."
One of the first things he says is, it is laughable that a guy writes that he made made $80 from a PTC site and had 400 referrals.
In May, I have plastered all over APSense that I did that. Nobody else has done that. Write that, I mean. It looks like I am the target. Let's say that I am.
Some of the things he wrote need to be examined.
If I needed 15 minutes to get every referral, it would have taken 100 hours of my time. That definltely would have been ridiculous. I wonder, though, where did I write that it takes me 15 minutes to get a sign up. I have written extensively about the methods I have used:
I discussed a lot with Teo about strategies, things to do, because he asked me to.
So, yes, I've spent many hours for Wiki-Clix. But that was my choice.
I have also promoted other PTC sites. I got 32 referrals at PersonaBux. I stopped promoting it for a few days, because there were rumors that the site didn't pay. Well, I asked for a payout and got it.
One more thing about the money we make with referrals on a PTC. These people click, and I make money for that. Not much per click, but if a good percentage of those people click every day, then even if I stopped promoting it, I would make money every month.
Is Wiki-Clix a scam? I invite that author to talk to Teo, instead of writing incomplete information in articles.
Yes, the PTC industry has a bad reputation. Yes, we have to be careful and find which sites pay. But, there is information out there about it.
Teo did his homework. He concluded it's better to know the owner. It is a good criteria, I agree. Or, we need to see payment proofs, or how long the site has been around.
Last, but not least, most people are able to judge by themselves. Yes, there are scams out there, and most of us have lost money at one time or another, especially when we are newbies and don't know who or what to trust.
One more thing: the payplan for PTCs sites is not complex. You click, you make money for each click, when you reach minimum payout, you request and get it. Simple and straightforward.
Another thing :)
There are some members here who have made good money with PTCs. And one of my best friends told me one of his friends made good money with it. That guy now owns a TE.
It's easy to be biased when you don't like someone and jump to conclusions.
Regarding PTCs, I invite anyone to do the math correctly.

Doing the clicks yourself and having no referrals involves a lot of patience, I agree, Oliver. That's why I emphasize the secret is to get tons of referrals. It might take some time, but all you have to do is posting ads, whether you choose to pay for it in other PTC sites where it's definitely a target market, or on traffic exchanges, classified ads, whatever works for you

Very good comments had been made about PTC sites. These should be used by newbies as a guide when placing their investment.I can certainly say that my first money making online came from PTC. It is really a time consuming process and involves a lot of patience.(PTC definitely will not bring you the financial freedom hope for; but a comment was made about using the money from PTC to upgrade membership in traffic exchange and other programs).
Hence risk, prudence and patience are critical element

You speak all those languages, Eric? Wow... :)
Mohann, I wonder what's the forbidden word you wanted to write, you got me curious. :)
Good suggestion for Robert's comment, it's topped now

Well, if you guys need something translated from French, German, Italien and Chinese into English, just let me know.
Back to the article: Philippe, there will always be people who will envy somebody else success. You know what you did and how you did it to get all those referrals. No need to defend yourself!
Mohann Krish6
Of course, you do Phil. You're ....(forbidden word!). Others can know, that's why I put it. What if people don't know English like our friend Aly? We need a translation tool badly. But that's a different math altogether.
One more thought in passing. I would have topped Robert's comment too. I feel, after reaching a level which I am as much sure as you do, one should accept bouquets and brickbats at the same time. No offence meant, friend. Like I put my status: "Right You Are (If You Think So

I know, Mohann, I had put it in the translator, but it's a matter of principle.

Phil, Stella means this (in Italian) : "Hello, I don't know what is this product but I am intrigued, shall be assessing as soon as possible for curiosity."

Hello Stella, could you please write your comment in English, we are not allowed to write comments in other languages at APSense :)

Wow...
I didn't expect such wonderful support. Thanks to all of you,
Mohann, all I can tell you is, in May, I focused 95 % of my promotional efforts on Wiki-Clix. I also spent money at AdHitz, probably around $50.
Robert, I didn't have to write my response to that other article, but it bothers me when I see incomplete information accompanied by what seemed to be a personal attack. But, in the long run, I guess you're right, I should simply ignore the naysayers and let my deeds speak fo

i've not heard of wiki-clix, going to check it out later.
just like sergio, i got the first few dollars of my paypal account from ptc sites. I've been burned several times and i was about to quit. However, because someone in my country posted proofs that she made money from ptc sites (w/c amounted to thousands of pesos in our currency), i tried again and proved to myself that some ptc sites do pay.
about referrals, i go by the quote: you reap what you sow.

Too bad you had to write an article of defense when you are legitimately trying to help someone using proven credible means. Keep up your good work.

Going by the same math, getting 4 referrals an hour is itself a task I am unable to imagine nor accomplish. I can't comment about the monetary math - it depends on one's level of satisfaction.

Absolutely right!
I used money from PTCs to buy domains, upgrade in traffic exchanges and to join several low cost opportunities.
It's all about reinvesting, we can see what fishing boat to buy after a few years of hard work and smart marketing not before! ;-)

Thanks, Sergio. :)
I believe that nobody can become rich with PTCs. I see it as a learning experience, and as you said, we make some money along the way. Also, we see how people advertise their programs. One other thing, the money we make can help finance the advertising for our other opportunities.

Hey Philippe,
It's very easy to write some negative feedback particularly when someone did not understand the concept or got burned while doing it.
We all have been scammed in the past, it's part of the learning process and in my case, I did experiment with PTCs in the past and made some money there, nothing to brag about but it was real authentic money.
Actually my first source of making money on the internet came from PTCs, those were the first ones to bring cash into my PayPal and Al
