Lets face facts folks, It took a while but Mobile Marketing is finally here to stay, the market penetration for mobile marketing is huge, just think there are almost 80 BILLION text messages sent a month. that means the mobile Marketing game has changed, below are some of my pro's and con's of Mobile Marketing.
The Pro's
1. Its the most powerful portable Marketing platform around.
2. It has great double opt-in capabilities.
3. Its a lot more cost effective.
4. The viral capabilities are huge.
The Con's
1. Some of these brands and companies are collecting your individual data.

@Cindy, I can relate :-).I also get left behind with the texting speeds.
@Philippe, the only external keyboard i've seen so far working on a Smartphone is a Bluetooth one, the android software has drivers available for it. But I don't think it will be long before it becomes a must have - Here's the link if anyone is interested - teksoftco.com/index.php?section=blueinputandroid

With the iPad, I have an external keyboard if I go somewhere for an extended period of time. Is it possible to do the same with the smart phones, to plug an external keyboard I mean ?

Paul I am sure that this is a very good thing but I guess I am very old fashion.
I have a hard enough time just typing let alone doing it on very tiny keys.
My little neighbor girl was here the other day. She carried on a complete conversation with me all the while texting to others.
I feel so out of the loop!
