What to do, when you are asked in some forms to insert the URL link of your picture?

As my technical skills are a little bit low, I never knew how to do this? I take part of a forum where you can insert photos in your post. But these pics have to be an URL link.... hmmm?
Of course, as an URL it has to be stored on some web page. But where? And how?

Someone told me to do it in Gravatar....??? It doesn't work for certain pictures as Gravatar will crop the original one. And you need the original size or even bigger....

Finally I got the solution for this little unknown 'problem'.

As there do not exist problems for me, I like to share with you the solution:

It is called ImageShack, a media hosting company which gives you for free the possibility to host any picture you like.

In addition to this you will get the codes for forums, websites or emails. You have the possibility to sort your stored pics in albums, present them in a slide show, make them public or private.

To my opinion this is a good alternative to flickr (I didn't even know that there exist the possibility :) )
