IMfaceplate still ok for you ?
The first site where I was very active was IMfaceplate, back in August and September 2010, until I discovered how exciting APSense is.
So, for a long time, all I did at IMfaceplate was thanking new followers. I had one almost every day, cause my active period allowed me to get around 300 followers.
A few days ago, I started posting there again. I realized some good friends like GT Bulmer and Dee Wescott are still active there every day. I figure, it must give them good results.
Also, the site is easier to navigate now, and they added many new interesting features, like the "share" function. The home page is very well done too nowadays.
Are you still active at IMfaceplate? Are you satisfied with the relationships you made, the promote features, the shouts ?

Web Of Trust, they decide which sites are good or not, checking spamming among other things, when someone told me APSense has a bad rating there, I figured it was not to be taken seriously, I heard of it 2 months ago, even you, with all your experience, Paula, you hadn't heard of it, one more proof it's not to be taken to the letter, IMO

I recently canceled my pro subscription on IMfaceplate. Thought it too expensive for what they offer and i am not much there anymore. Trying an alternative now. I read in this chat about WOT. What is it?

I thought the same, Mohann, I mean restrict myself to only a few sites, especially APSense, my favorite, but, as I discovered with BizOppers, there are things that are mentioned elsewhere I won't necessarily hear about at APSense

I feel we all can comment / rate on WOT about APSense and help in improving the rating. I feel IMFaceplate could modify the Group pages to kind of typical forum format with signatures. I found very good information there (in group / discussion pages) but the look is awful because of the font (may be)! But are we all not going to say the same things everywhere? I prefer to restrict to a few places - the more sites we choose to join, the less is the time spent on most.

I think maybe IMfaceplate added the comment on our faces about not posting spam on other faces in order to improve the situation. I, for one, am not shy of telling someone to build a relationship with me instead of sending unsolicited links. Many people don't dare do that to other members, for fear or retaliation, or fear of having problems later on, I guess.

Mohann, I wouldn't rely too much on WOT. Somebody told me a few months ago that APSense can't be trustes since it gets a low score in WOT.
I believe the reason WOT considers APSense bad is because I heard APSense was a spam farm for a few years, back in 2008 and 2009, I think. I wasn't there at the time, but good friends were, and they told me so. One of these friends came back in October 2010 when he saw my excitement about APSense and he confirmed that things had improved tremendously. Eve

Phil, I used be active there bit don't know why I rarely go there now-a-days. Of course, I have good good back links in Yahoo in real quick time. Moreover, WOT confirms a poor reputation of IMFaceplate.
