Preparing For Love Or War?
Love And War Cannot Exist Together
I am just wondering what love and war mean and why they cannot exist together as I asserted above. I do not know if you have stopped to consider the two which can make or mar your world.
The better and the more preferable of the two is love, but, have you realized that we are not trained to love? As much as love is important in our lives, we do not have training, formal or informal, about what is love and how to love and how to nurture love and affection.
This realization has put my mind on inquiry and I am putting this article down to also rouse your thoughts concerning the two items.
When there is love in a family, war is always very far away. When a man is at war with himself, God is far away from that person because God is love. Do you agree with this? Read the bible to be sure.
We (countries and organizations) spend huge sums of money to train and prepare for war. We expend huge resources yearly to buy arms and ammunitions to destroy others and we actually use them to destroy.
War does not build but destroys. Love does not destroy but nurtures and builds.
Why is humanity always very close to war but very far from love? We need to take positive action to propagate love wherever we find ourselves and downplay the chants and dangers of war we see and experience daily in our lives.
If love and war are put side by side and you are asked to choose one, which one will you choose?
I think I know the answer. Therefore, why do you let your representatives in the various legislative assemblies in your countries misrepresent you by choosing war instead of love?
So, let us promote love and not war in our lives.

"When a man is at war with himself, God is far away from that person because God is love."
Under what circumstances will a man be at war with himself?

Thanks Lynne for your comment. I am also a lover and not a fighter. We are heading to doom unless we learn to live with one another.

I love your article bronnamdi. The fact is does exist in this world together. We live in a dualistic world of opposites. Love is from the spirit; war comes from the ego. The ego serves for survival, which war fits in perfectly. After all, countries compete against one another to be the strongest and the best. War is ultimate competition against nations. I'm a lover not a fighter. I have learned to love and accept myself. It's taken years to reprogram me from my early upbringings. I am no lon
