How Many Referrals?
I keep seeing advertising for BLASTERS and Guaranteed Traffic or Massive Signups Free and I wondered how many leads do people think it takes to be successful? I assume getting referrals is the main reason to get all this worthless traffic, right? The truth is it only takes ONE and you can have a much better chance of getting them by interacting right here on ApSense. Do you realize that if you get one new referral a month and share your ideas with them so they can do the same thing, with a 5 or 6 level program you can have THOUSANDS by this time next year.
That's why I started focusing on a system that should appeal to people who are not having much luck with getting referrals on their own, but my plan is already thrown out of whack after I got 25 referrals the first couple of days. Now if they will just do what I share with them.
So you may wonder how I did that so easy?
Establish and cultivate a good image in social networks and forums. Be helpful and share with no expectation of any return. Don't spam your links all over unless they offer true value in context for your readers. Then when something good comes along, it's like holding a small piece of straw in front of the vacuum hose.
It's that simple!

@Lisa, I agree with you completely, but some things will never change. All we can do is make help available to them and hope for the best. At least we didn't use up my 3 messages a day to talk about it today.

@Oldbuddy. But if you can't get a hold of them, you can't follow up with them and offer help if they won't even answer their emails. I am talking about people who join a program under you and then you can't get a hold of them. I am not talking about people who just join a list. I do not believe in the "get people on your list and mail offer after offer to them" I hate that mentality and I would never do that. If someone joins a program they should at least respond to you with interest or say the

@Lisa tells the truth, but you can increase the odds with followup and help without banging them with more offers.

Very good article. I also believe you only need a few to succeed. But a few good ones that will work the program like you and they are hard to find.
You said "I got 25 referrals the first couple of days. Now if they will just do what I share with them. '
That is the hard part, getting the referrals active after they have joined. We could have 100's in our downline, but if they are not doing anything it does us no good. That is what I am struggling with now. I have had alot of people sign up u

Never heard this before but so true... "it's like holding a small piece of straw in front of the vacuum hose." (Very Cool)! It has taken me a long time to get to a point where I understand what people really value. They value honesty, leadership and personality. All of this is what shapes original content and that is what builds trust that leads to a following. Nicely written Oldbuddy...

@Philippe of course ApSense is high on the list, but I also visit Sidetick, PeopleString, Yuwie and Viral Network. Then there are a few small ones and of course Facebook and LinkedIn.

Hi Warren! Thank you for your article! I have only started with internet marketing recently! So I think it takes time until other people get to know me and sign up through my referral links. I would also like to know which social networks apart from apsense are good.
