Never Bite The Hand That Feeds You
In the world of Online Marketing its easy to forget the folks who were instrumental early on when we were newbies, we just get so busy right? I'll tell you this, always reach back to re-visit the people who were a help to you early on, check out what they're doing, visit their blogs, comment on their sites, like them on Facebook, retweet their stuff. You'll also find that after awhile you'll be traveling in the same circles with the same Marketers you've seen for years, give them some link love when you get a minute and I guarantee you they'll appreciate it and will probably return the favor. That's what this is all about, supporting each other in our endeavors, we're all we have when you think about it because we're cut from a different cloth and understand each other and the hard work it takes to do what we do.
If I've helped you in any way feel free to follow me, retweet me, like me, stalk me and let me know if you need any assistance and I promise you I'll give you all the help I can and I won't insult your intelligence by trying to sell you. I even still stay in contact with the person I fashioned my blogging technique from and although this person is a superstar in the world of online marketing he still finds the time to answer my e-mails, that person is Seth Godin.

Great advice Paul. It always pays to appreciate and show gratitude to those who genuinely helped you when you were a newbie. I liked this part of the article: "This is all about supporting each other in our endeavors. We're all we have when you think about it because we're cut from a different cloth and understand each other and the hard work it takes to do what we do."

With people who helped me I always want to stay friend and Im always in contact with them and we share more ideas, when I learn something new I should share with my friends first and trying to teach them if they need it

It's very rare to find anyone doing that! You should always return the favor to the people who helped you early on.

I agree for a big part. I do not bite them either but I do nibble a bit sometimes. I mean constructive criticism. Depending on the nature of it in public or in pv. Having partnerships does not mean you have to love everything they do.

Never bite the hand that feeds and also show them that you have learned something from them and their lessons were not in vain. The best way to do that is to pass it on. Take the time to reach out to someone new just like they did with you.
I'm not saying you have to tolerate every idiot that comes along but when you come across someone that wants to learn, the best tribute you can give to someone who helped you is to help someone else.
