What Some Newbies Will Never Learn
After awhile online you soon discover that there are a lot of people that know a whole lot more than you about MLM and Network Marketing, but what do they know that you don't? For instance they've done their homework and they already know that over 90% of newbies who join a Network marketing business or affiliate program will give up and quit at the first sign of trouble especially once they find out that it wasn't quite as simple as they were led to believe or what they convinced themselves to believe. The other thing they know is that they have you on their list forever and eventually you'll program hop and join another one of their offerings. They consider it a numbers game and they'll always offer you pieces of the puzzle never giving you the whole picture because after all if you knew what they knew you'll suddenly become their competition and they're not about to let you take food out of their mouths.
You'll also never be told that all these pre-launches you see online have already been picked up by them from their other Guru buddies, they work together to fleece the flock. What people need to do is to ask themselves different questions and stop comparing themselves to everyone else, you'll have to get creative and begin to believe in yourself. My change came when I finally just became myself and spoke to people with honesty, once you do that it becomes easy to train people and duplicate your techniques. There are plenty of people out here that need your help, concentrate on those people and that will be the beginning of building your team. Always offer value to people, don't be afraid to tell your story because we all have one. Keep it short and to the point, be laser focused and don't allow anything to stop you or get in your way. I found a mentor that I listened to, someone who's been there and done that, it helped me.

I think the "key" take away from your article Paul - at least in my opinion - is offer "value"; I don't know how many times over my career I have mentioned this to the younger people in my business,,,,,,,,,,,eventually they learn, sometimes (most of the time) the long hard way.

Paul, don't bother about Buratino's comment, he rarely takes the time to write good comments. I reported him for abuse as his comment in unrelated to the article, IMO, it's just a weird rant

True and thanks.

Well said Paul, people need to have an "honest" conversation with their clients if they ever hope to be a trusted resource.
