Do try this at the beautiful city of Pokhara.
6. Rafting/ Canoying: Why rafting and canoying?? This is for the most daring one, who wishes to challenge the rules of gravity in the rivers of Nepal. Nepal, because of its varied geographical elevation within a smaller distance, offers many rivers with speed that can rush blood off your nerves.

If you like to take a short escape out of Kathmandu, then you can go to hill station like Nagarkot and Dhulikhel. Just a short distance away from Kathmandu, these hill stations provide you panaromic view of natural landscape and peace of mind. If you can wake up early morning, then you can also see the beautiful view of sun rise. If you don?t mind travelling little further, Pokhara is the must watched place.
9. Take part in festivals: To say frankly, Nepal is the nation of festivals. There is something happening every other day. If you are around Kathmandu, you can see the excitement of ?Machchhindranath Jatra? or fun of ?Indra Jatra?. If you don?t mind putting little color (or lots of color), then take part in ?Fagu Purnima? (The festival of color) with locals.
10. Try Dal, Bhat and Tarkari: Yeah, that?s not definitely the end of the lists, but I guess you want to try some Nepalese cuisine as well. The popular Nepalese cuisine include Dal (Lentils), bhat (rice) and tarkari (vegetables). Mix it together and eat by your hands if possible. You will get the different heavenly taste. Don?t worry if you don?t want to use your hands, you can use spoons or ?knife and forks?, but I bet the taste will be much different. People of Nepal like to eat by their hands and please, don?t forget to wash your hands before eating. india trips
