Simple banner I created for APSense Insider newsletter
I promote the APSense Insider newsletter everywhere I can.
So far, I have used my squeeze page and text ads.
Until yesterday.
I created a banner for it. A simple one, actually. I hope it works.
To create that banner, I searched for a free picture. Here's what I found:
As you can see, it's animated. Well, I haven't learned yet to deal with animated gif files. I went forward and created my banner anyway.
I will work on it harder soon.
I placed the banner on the APSense TE, i.e. APSense Traffix.
The squeeze page and textt ads had not giveb any result.
Coincidentally, after placing the banner, I got 2 subscribers from the TE. I know because I use TE Toolbox for tracking.
Did the banner make the difference ? TE Toolbox is not that precise.
I'll keep experimenting.

@Toshiba, thanks, I applied the KISS principle. It would be reallyt cool if it was animated. :)
@Cathy, I talk about that in another article where I created banners from a screenshot of the Talent image that was on the APSense homepage when Talents was launched. I save the pic on my PC, then I use Paint to resize it and add the words. So simple, it's almost embarassing. :)

Hi Bill, thanks for the feedback. I haven't started targeting people that are not APSense members. I need to do a different squeeze page for that.
Thanks for the "Explode Your Network" suggestion. I will consider it for sure, I like the way it sounds.

Nice Banner Philippe. Are you using it strictly in the APSense site? If you use it for outside advertising, you might want to add something like "Explode Your Network! Become an APSense Insider Today." Just mentioning APSense to people on the outside might not mean much to those who are not familiar with it.
