FireFox is out, I'm back with Chrome
During the fall of 2009, while I was lurking at Internet Marketing, I was using Chrome.
When I became active, in July 2010, I discovered many sites suggest taskbars that don't work with Chrome.
I switched to FireFox, since it is better supported by the IM sites than Chrome. By the way, I don't know if that's still the case.
Well, since then, I have had daily frustrations with Firedox. Mainly, it freezes and I have to close the window.
The last straw was this week, when I tested a webinar application. Firefox froze right in the middle of it.
Now, I can't risk that.
Is there a way to fix Firefox ? I don't know, and I don't care. Many people told me they don't like FireFox, I joined their club.
I use Windows 7, so it can't be that. Do I use too many add-ons or plug-ins ? I use the ones that make my IM work more efficient.
Well, I'm ready to sacrifice that. I cross my fingers that site owners have adapted to Chrome, or vice versa.
Some will tell me that Chrome is from Big Bad Google. Well, so far, I've never had problems with Google. I always use white hat techniques or products.
Ironically, I wrote an article a few months ago, where I recommended FireFox for Internet Marketing. I gotta delete that article. :)

The all have advantages and disavantages. I sometimes long for the days that there were not so many whistles and bells. I am sure you can disable them but that also costs time to find them and disable. I do like the incoginito surfing is some browsers. I dislike explorer which is superslow on my PC (windows XP)

Oh... and just incase you are wondering it works just as fast as chrome, I am no expert with browsers and I still need to develop myself a little further on the subject before I would feel confident about giving advice... But I like this thread, Maybe we can all learn something new here

@Philippe I may get round to doing an article but to be honest I dont remember the exact steps, but from what I do remember is once firefox was re installed on my computer after it kept crashing... I went into firefox getting started and began looking for add ons which would protect me. Better Privacy is what you should be looking for, each time an LSO cookie is dropped on your hard disk a pop up tells you about it, LSO Cookies stay on your hard drive indefinetly until removed, I pick up atleast

@Paul, would you write an article giving details of what you did ? I'm interested cause I realize I love the FireFTP add-on, there's no such thing with Chrome, apparently.
@rabo, I have used Safari only on my iPad. I guess I can't compare the experience, since Windows and iOS are 2 totally different beasts.
@Paul, please give some detail about what you mean for protection. A few months ago, FireFox and Chrome saw malware on a site. A few days later, in a forum, some poor soul mentioned he

I had issues with firefox to start with and since I added better privacy I have had no issues, This tells me when LSO cookies have been placed and I can easily remove them when the pop up comes up to inform me. My PC used to freeze like that before but not now.
