Image   Why on Earth do we Humans have a tendency to relegate one of our most powerful social skills to the dustbin as we grow into our "roles" in our adult years?

As children, once we began to speak, we also had a built in need to ASK for stuff... I mean ALL OF THE TIME, as I recall my Mom saying.

Now, I admit that some of the items we asked for such as : ponies, rocketships, flame throwers ect., might have been a little bit of an impossibility for some of our hapless parents to provide, but we asked anyway, and somewhere out there, some little kid got his/her wish...

Years later, most of us have basically been tricked out of this powerful feature, and as adults in this crazy/busy world, most of us are so woefully lacking in our ASKING skills that we've simply become "zombified " into accepting what ever comes our way (lot of folks will tell you that I absolutely don't like zombies...).

People like most of us here at Apsense who are in the marketing and advertising fields, especially direct sales, have kinda missed the mark in meeting our desired numbers, because we want to believe, passively, that the Internet will take care of us-- all we gotta do is place the right ad, in the right place, at the right time...

Well, my loving readers, there is a lot more to it than than that, as we who have failed to make those paychecks come home to us may already realize...

Ideally, there are Humans on the recieving end of your marketing schemes, and they have to be "sold to until they are satisfied " with whatever decisions your pitches might lead them to make, and then is is time to do something that we might have  guessed by now...

GET RID OF YOUR FEARS AND BARRIERS AND ASK FOR THE SALE!!!!

OK, I'm not gonna pretend that I'm some kind of sales genie or guru, but I'm self-aware enough to know when I'm not ASKING for what I want-- My bottom line TELLS ME when it's time to "step up my game " or risk losing sleep for the next week or two.

Here's a few resource that might help us get going again, and I send my love and best wishes to you and your families for all of the successes to come! :)
