The following reasons are why I believe affiliate marketing is the best online business which anyone can start, regardless of whatever experience they have in internet marketing online or offline.
1. No need to create your own product. As an affiliate, you will be making money online through commissions which you earn from marketing other people's products.
2. No handling or shipping of products. All you have to do is to direct potential customers to the merchant's website using your affiliate link. Once the prospective customer gets to the merchant's site, your job is done.
3. You do not need to create a website or write a sales copy, which can be quite costly if you want to do it right. If you already have your own website, all you need to do is to add your affiliate links on your website. You can also still earn money online as an affiliate without a website by simply promoting your affiliate link. If you are writing and submitting articles as a way of advertising, all you need to do is to add your affiliate links at the end of each article. People who read your articles may then click on your affiliate link which can make you a sale.
4. No domain and hosting costs. When starting an online business, most people have limited cash. In affiliate marketing, there is no need to pay for hosting and having your own domain since you do not necessarily need to have your own website. While it is helpful to have your own website where you promote your affiliate programs, you can still start to earn money just by promoting your affiliate link without a website.
5. You can join the business from anywhere in the world where there is internet connection. You only need to apply to the marketer to join and in most cases, approval is given within 24 hours.
6. You can pick and choose the products you want to sell. There are many products you can choose from to promote. You can therefore choose those hot products that are popular and in demand, and that also match your interests or website theme.
7. Affiliate marketing gives you the opportunity to market some of the best and most potent products in the world.
8. You earn money while enjoying yourself.
9. Internet marketing affords you the opportunity to earn hard currency even while still in your own country.
10. You do not need to have business or internet experience to join and make money from affiliate marketing business.

@ Corey Blackmur I agree with your last comment entirely. Having an autoresponder will definitely boost your business more than without it. It makes it easier to communicate with your previous customers who are in a better position to buy again from you than new and unknown visitors.

Hi Bronnamdi, yes I agree you do not require the autoresponder.
My point about the autoresponder is that I believe you can build a better long term business using an autoresponder by having various customer lists that fit each product you are selling, therefore allowing for repeat sales.

@ Corey Blackmur You can get an autoresponder if you want to. You will still make money with free affiliate programs if you do not have autoresponders. I do not have them but I make money online through affiliate programs.

@ Rieke You do not have to have a website to promote free affiliate programs. There are few things you may do to have a unique url to advertise. What has worked for me is to register a .info domain that costs about $2 and forward the affiliate url to it. Then, I create subdomains of the domain and mask and forward other affiliate urls I have.
This way, I still advertise my affiliate websites with unique urls without building a website. You can try it. It works.

I agree with most everything you say in your article, although in saying that, I believe that the GPT programs which offer an ongoing residual income is another way you can begin marketing on the internet. One thing I would like to add is I really believe you should at least have an autoresponder to help build your business, it really is an inexpensive business cost.

- Traffic Exchanges
- free classified ads
- participate on forums
These are only 3 examples which come into my mind, reading your article.
