Inappropriate chat.
In a social or business setting, we all meet different people. Some are honest and very nice, a chosen few are rude and display behavior that would earn the chatter a lawsuit, In a "brick and mortar" business setting, it is not even legal.
What is inappropriate in the outside world, is also inappropriate in the internet marketing world. Ethics and etiquette play a role in business of any kind, on or off line.
It is wrong to have a sexual conversation with a fellow employee. In my opinion, It is also wrong to have a sexual conversation in a business social network setting as well.
It is hard enough to gain credibility as an internet marketer without having to deal with rude, inappropriate people who are not here to learn and offer credible information.

I only joined 3 days ago (Thank you Kat)..so I'm still learning my way around here. I'm a little slow and Kat has been so helpful though. I went and befriended Wincer now. ;) Thanks for letting me know who Wincer was. How would one know that anyway?

@Laura Wincer is the Big Guy!!!
Apsense is HIS baby!!
And with all of the pick up and dating sites available it does amaze me that people do that stuff here at APSense and FaceBook
seems silly to me

I had the same thing happen to me on Facebook yesterday. The guy was new though, and I don't think he knew that facebook is mainly used as a business social network. I explained to him that facebook was probly not the best venue for picking up women. He wasn't sexually explicit, but he wouldnt leave me alone, so I finally just blocked him.
By the way...what is Wincer?

No I didn't. He had a photo of a woman in his chat profile. PlayBOY doesn't interest me, PlayGIRL however...rofl!

@Katrina, you should report these people. Just take a screenshot of the conversations so that you have proof.
I don't think any online business social network wants these types hanging around and harrasing their members.

I block people on a regular basis! It's why I keep all my IM ID's private. I get so tired of the "Hello I think you are beautiful and I would like to get to know you email me Scumbagscammer@yahoo.com" messages.
Although I did once get one that said "look at my naked pictures" with a link to 'his' profile. lol

@Cheryl, so true! Blocking the culprit is a great feeling! With the bonus of never having to associate with them again!
BTW..this did happen here this morning, he was reported and blocked!

Unfortunately the same behavior exists on and offline. at least with chat it's very easy to put an end to it, in the real world it can be much harder You can't exactly 'block' someone coming through your businesses front door without locking it and keeping everyone else out too.

I agree with the above but have had no trouble with that on APSense. There were a few that opened a conversion with a pasted link. I let them know it is not appreciated and end the conversation. If some one tries to have a sexual conversation here on APSense I think you should report it to the admins here.

There's many online idiots and many offline idiots but it never ceases to amaze what some people think (don't think?) is appropriate.
