"Goal" has been defined as "a dream with deadline " it pre-assumes absense of some thing and then in course of time one has to strive and achieve it .Goal may be instantly set but attainment lies in the future ! It may sound strange but goal setting is stressful gives rise to tension and all sorts of unhappines in the world! In the words of Tao the greatest gen "Life flows UnBounded Without a GOAL" it is a stream to flower it in all its beauty and spleandour,it should be allowed t blosom as it is .Those who have known the swcrets of life have always denounces the practice of goalsetting or making resolutions. But from business and materialistic point of view it appears essential
because all of us are tied and taught to the doctrine of "achievement" and on the face of it looks ok but if we go deeper we find that resolutins or goal setting is an agressive activity of the mind which is not satisfied with ts present condition! It is related to the attitude and approach to life which is binding our soul. Taoy says " who is bound person carrying a calf with the rope or the calf carrying  or being carried by the person? Ponder ! when we carry a doggie in chains with us who is bound the puppy or we ?
We are bound ! We are slave to our desire and which in turn enslaves thefrieedom of that beautifuldoggie ! Why do not we leave him!!
similar is the case with desires resolutions and all sorts of the things that go with it When you have set a dead line for doing some thing your are enslaving yourself to the goal ! If we are for peace we have to leave this "MIssIon" "vision" "value "approach and mind set as all businesses wants us to tie down to thei wagon Keep your self free no more resolutions no more goals you would b far happy  Well I know it is very vey difficult to understand let alone follow  this devine concept > Well Lord says come to me I shall do all  He never says set a goal for coming to me It is an instantaneous bidding and surrender to HIs Will!
Make no resolutions ,make no goals follow His Will
