Bring your hotel to life online and engage your guests

Online travel is about to undergo its next big evolution – one that will see a far greater emphasis on merchandising all aspects of the “travel experience” through visual content and it has already started as search engines such as Google and Bing develop features based on behaviour and it is VIDEO that people want which is why video is now incorporated in their search engine rankings.

 

Many sources prove that online video viewing influences buying behaviour and this holds true for the travel industry. VIDEO can tell a hotel’s OWN story. Every hotel has a different story to tell i.e. the big chain hotels may discuss their meeting room facilities and conference space whereas extended stay hotels have a different story to tell in regards to value etc. Photos on their own will not represent YOUR STORY and engage your guests the way video can.

 

If a guest is comparing two hotels in the same city on any travel website and they are both priced the same per night but one displays photos and the other video, which hotel would be more appealing?

 

It stands to reason that by adding video to your online hotel listings you will be able to give online travel shoppers more information about your hotel and influence their booking decisions.
