Media Hype regarding Joe Wilson helps Rob Miller's Fund Raising

I witnessed Republican Joe Wilson's Tourette Syndrome Moment ( my own label for his disruptive scream) during the President's address to joint members of the House.

Breaking news was also scrolling at the bottom of the screen of the channel I was watching and one of the first flashes announced Rob Miller suddenly raised $50,000 within 20 minutes of Joe's moment.  Continuing viewing the President's address; the scroll showed updates of $100,000, $150,000.

I pulled up my Diggs account to see if there were any news submissions to support Rob Miller's instant fund raising explosion and sure enough the site was buzzing with articles supporting breaking news.

ActBlue reports, as of September 11, $700,000 from an estimated 20,000 contributors has been raised for Rob Miller, since the President's address.  That averages $35, per contributor.
