Recycling is to take a step forward for manufacturing and distribution companies with the development of a new range of thermal synthetic labels by a leading labelstock manufacturer. Designed specifically for use on shrink wrap packaging, the thermal synthetic products on polypropylene and high density polyethylene are compatible with the film, allowing it to be easily recycled by the end user. In addition to this the label is also semi-resistant to outside conditions for a period of time. The shrink wrap film used to protect goods on wooden pallets is already extensively recycled in many other European countries and it is hoped that more UK companies will be able to follow suit. Graham Crosbie, product manager, said: ‘Recycling and Green issues are having to be increasingly confronted by UK companies following the recent EC Directives. Our new synthetic labelstocks for film packaging will further help the UK business community to conform to EU law and positively address ecological issues before it is too late.’ Etiquette are the UK's experts in labels and labelling.
