My intel (JazLive): First published on Qassia

From Sunday school toddler to high school junior, mom always encourage me to participate in church and school activities; singing, speech recital, a part in a stage production, marching band, ...

As a junior, I graduated with the seniors and had my 1st encounter with leadership delegation via my high school drama instructor who just also happened to be the coordinator for the senior graduation program.

We were practicing the march for our upcoming commencement when I was called to the side by the drama instructor. I was asked to tell a fellow student to step out of the practice line. The fellow student and I were very close friends and as I acknowledged okay to the instructor, I immediately started walking back to the line.

Yes, there was plenty of "mind-talk" and breathless fussing about having deliver the message from the drama instructor "get out of the graduation line"

I asked myself, why do I have to tell her to get out of line. As I faced my friend I changed the message to:

"student's name', Mrs 'drama instructor' needs to speak to you." ~ student said "okay" and immediatly started walking towards the drama instructor ~ I kept going too, abandoning the remainder of the graduating practice.

I suppose this was the beginning development of my technique to void responsibility of upper management from dumping on me.

Simply connect A to B and C your way to the closest exit :-)
