Why Can't People .....????? Yet Another Rant.

Have you noticed how often people just don't stop to think?    If something crosses their minds,
they just go ahead and do it, no matter what.

This week, for example, I've seen someone hosing down his car, when we are not allowed
to do so, due to water shortages.    We're still on Stage 3A restrictions here, and can only
use buckets to clean cars, and then only windscreens and mirrors for safety.

No wonder there's a water shortage.   If everyone made an effort, we'd all be much
better off.   

Yes, I know; I'm asking far too much.     Librans want an ideal world!

And why do people just throw rubbish onto the street?    Why can't they take it home
or put it in the rubbish or recycle bins that the council provide?   I've seen people throw
garbage into the street from their homes, instead of putting it in their bins.   
And as for picking up paper and empty bottles and cans from the street outside
my house, I've lost count of the times it's happened.   The worst thing I've found
was a used hypodermic syringe.

OK, enough - ranting over for today, but I do get so annoyed because people
just won't do the right thing.
