I love Turkey, but with just 2 of us, cannot justify the cost or the time to fix a major dinner.
Our church (Gateway Church) had a Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday after Church. Mmmmmmmm, good. Tons of food.
They are giving a dinner for seniors in the community on Dec 14, 2010.

Jim's for thanksgiving and not a bad price either. Unfortunately there's a yardbird in the fridge with my name on it. I'll put Tom to bed int he over tomorrow night right before I put myself in and give him a nice low 300 degree temp. He'll be falling off the bone Thursday! But next year I'm going to Jim's!

@pplcheryl6
You'll get a kick out of this one, we are eating Thanksgiving dinner at Jim's. $7.99 each. With 2 in the house, making a dinner is logical. No family here in town. Virginia, New Mexico, Oregon, California and Washington.

Getting ready for bed was probably a 24-7 chore...
Years would pass by before those Medieval folk figured out that to view the Female nude body full on, wouldn't cause a"Blight or Curse to fall upon them "....
Damn, a walk down Bourbon street during Mardi Gras or any other Tuesday, for that matter , "Wouldst surely have an effect, most foul" on 'em! LOL! :)

I could see why a couple or three ladies going nude was a worry back then... It would probably put thousands of seamstresses out of business! LOL! :)

Never get anything done, if we had to wear all those clothes, plus the lock would
be a worry! :-)

Studied locks when I a kid, always knew there was a purpose for it when I became a teen--
The stuff we guys had to wade through to cop a feel, makes today's ladies undergarments look like an open bank safe! LOL! :)

Your drink has been submitted-- They test everything over there, so if it makes it to the display page, it must be good-- And a name like "Sassy Assed Sea Goddess" always gets the attention... It's one of the milder names for cocktails over there! :)
There's a contest going on over there too, if I win I'll share the prize with you! :)

That would be a trip! I have a hard time getting Ronnie's 12 yr old to eat 'good things'. Well, last night I made the salad and that was the only choice to eat. Oh it was wonderful. I grilled the chicken, black olives, real bacon pieces, avocado, onion, cheese, croûtons, boiled egg, tomato's.....man it was off the chain. And oh ranch dressing! He LOVED it and said....what have I been missing??? LOL!
