Bagels Vs Donuts! Are People Running Out Of Stuff To Argue About?
I love bagels much more that I love donuts, but it wasn't always that way...
As a kid, I would develop a case of confused taste buds simply because of the resemblance shared by both of these baked goods. Of course nowadays, bagels come in flavours and colors of almost every kind that you can think of, and donut flavours and even shapes can boast of numbers reaching into the hundreds... Remember when there was only Glazed, Frosted or Powdered?
And another thought just occured to me... Why are these two particular types of bread considered to be funny?
Well anyways, here is the link to a funny blog with an argument-in-progress, I know that it's gonna make you giggle, and so will the video below! :)
Oops! Almost forgot to include a bagel spread recipe! :)

I swear that this whole thing started when 7-11 was serving gratis coffee and donuts to cops-- It was a corporate decision to make their franchises more secure...
Also, many old-time cartoons had this stereo-type built-in 'Fat- Flat-Foots and Donuts"... Bagels had the funny Jewish comedian thing going for them, But I think BIALYS are funnier! :)

Okay I have been known to eat both blueberry bagels and jelly donuts. I just like the way the blogger based the entire thing on the stereotype of cops eating donuts. I know a few co-workers who would just love to pull this joker over for speeding!

Really made a good buy the other day-- 18 Bagels.... Gave 6 each to my Clients, and ate the rest as lunchtime snacks--- Stuffed with Avocado/Crabmeat, Pineapple/ Shredded Beef and Cream Cheese, Wilted Lettuce/ Melted Pepper Swiss and Mayo.... Whatever I had a mind to make! :)
