Identity theft is not a credit issue!
We all know that identity theft have spawned a cottage industry of companies. Most haven't even been in business long enough to get their feet wet.
There is one leader in the Identity theft arena and they are a well established company that has worked for national governments, security agencies and now for us the individuals. When companies have a security breach they seek out this particular agency to handle it.
This agency also discovered something with their experience in the identity restoration area, it's not a credit issue it's a legal issue. As time goes on others are discovering the same thing. It is not on the shelves yet, but look for the soon to be released book, "The Silent Crime What youNeed to Know About Identity Theft" by Michael McCoy and Steffen Schmidt. These are the experts. Mr McCoy is a co-director of the Identity Theft Prevention Institute.
I don't care what someone tells you about a credit freeze, it won't help if you are being arrested on a warrant someone else generates in your name. It won't get your driver's license reinstated after someone has collected unpaid traffic tickets. It won't go to bat for you when Uncle Sam tells you that you have unreported income on your SSN.
That is why this company took steps to partner with us. They have the experience to understand that legal issues can slow down or even halt a restoration if you can't afford to pay for the attorney. After all what good is restoration if your financial situation dictates that you can't go forward?
You want to be sure that what you have to protect your identity is more than a credit freeze and addresses the legal issues you will encounter. Complete protection provides not only credit monitoring and restoration but access to attorneys. There is a product that provides all of this including 24 hour access to legal counsel during an emergency.

Thanks Jeff.
This is the major obstacle with identity theft, people still think it just the credit cards and bank accounts. Look for that book and check out chapter 9!
