Disease Prevention - give your pet proper nutrition, opportunities for exercise ,most important immunization shots and plenty of loving care. petting has an enhancing effect on the immune system.

Cuts and Scratches -  Make a tea of Marigold flowers and spray on the affected area. Or you could apply Marigold Salve on the wound and wrap with a sterile bandage to keep pet from licking it off.


 Ear infections and Ear Mites  - Use garlic-mullein ear oil, 3 to 4 drops 2 x a day


 Eye infections  - Use a well strained goldenseal tea as an eyewash, Be sure to buy cultivated goldenseal as wild populations have to be seriously over harvest. Eye bright herb tea is a great 2nd choice.


 Fleas -To prevent fleas- make an herb collar by dipping a string into a combination of essential oils containing Eucalyptus , Citronella, sage and tie around the neck.
 

Anxiety - Lavender oil , 1-drop in bath is great for calming a stressed dog
