BCN NEWS RELEASES INTERVIEW ABOUT MARKETING MANUAL

Last year, American Media International (AMI) released their 85 page marketing manual that clearly shows how many in the Media train their sales teams.

Below is the  interview conducted in Baltimore, Maryland by newsreporter Todd Blenden with a member of the AMI'SBoard ofDirectors(BofD)about the books release.

******************************************************

TB: I would like to thank you for taking time out for this face to face about this highly controversial manuscript.

BofD: You're very welcome. And before we begin, there is nothing controversial about our marketing manual, save what you in the News media are telling your viewers.

TB: You don't deny that this Little Blue Book, as you call it, is of deep concern to many General Sales Managers in Radio and Television.

BofD: The only concern they have is that this puts those outside of those industry's on the same playing field. It is obvious that they do not like the idea of the public having available what we teach to our sales teams about marketing.

TB: So, you don't see that as dangerous?

BofD: Of course not. How could educating others in yet another way to advertise and market their business and product line be dangerous?

TB: It's dangerous because you are giving away confidential information.

BofD: What we have done is share knowledge. Nothing more. And as the manual tells any who read it, knowledge is only power when shared. This information will benefit the global commence, enhance the efforts of entrepreneurs and educate the mass audience to how we in the media promote and advertise to the global community. We see nothing wrong with others having that kind of information.

TB: What about the web link that shows where one can apply for millions of dollars to fund their business ventures. You released that information too, correct?

BofD: The investor information shared is all part of what onewill findin our marketing manual, yes. Those who have need offunds to grow their business or to create a start-up will be ableto submit their business plan to any of the investors foundthrough AMI’smanual , along with their revenue projections.

TB: So, by releasing this kind of information and giving away trade secrets, you believe this is going to help your Industry grow?

BofD: Most assuredly. And do me a favor, okay? Stop trying to imply that what we have done is somehow, immoral. Now, to answer your question. This manual is as diverse in its application as those who will digest the information. Some of the data will have people understand how we operate as marketers, while other chapters may not apply at all to what one operates as a business. Those chapters can still be a great teaching device.

TB: The book is 85 pages in length. That's a lot of reading.

BofD: Believe it or not sir, people still like to read; many look forward to learning new ways to grow their business. The LBB is a PDF file, one can sit at their computer and actually have the information read aloud to them, if they so choose.

TB: I see every day where those on line release hundreds of programs about advertising sales and marketing. So how is this manual any different?

BofD: Our marketing manual is what you might call, all inclusive. Instead of downloading 25 eBooks, you have the LBB as a guide you can refer to time and time again. No more searching through a dozen files for review. Plus, this is not all about what one can do on line to increase their business success, nor it is written and compiled by just one or two individuals; twenty five men and women assited in creating this study guide.

TB: What about the cost of the book. Why did you discount it by 50%?

BofD: The book is being released to those on the Internet for this price so we can create an on line focus group, so to speak. The feedback over the book and the price suggested are all being met favorably. Plus, part of the proceeds goes toward Pediatric cancer research.

TB: I understand one person has asked for their money back, true?

BofD. This person tried to imply that the information on the American Media International sales page had them believe that the LBB would help them find contacts in the media that would assist them sell their own ebook. They claimed that the text does not clearly state that the manual is about marketing. We found it unusual that someone who claims to be an author would suggest such a thing. The ad copy is concise and to the point as to the books subject matter.

TB: So you won’t be returning their money ?

BofD: Certainly not. Would you sell someone a suit of clothes, have them wear it for two weeks, have them gain the benefit of doing so, only to have them bring it back and demand you return their money. It's obvious that this individual has gained the information they needed and wants to play the bait and switch game with us. We have no desire to participate in such poor behavior.

TB: I appreciate your taking time out to answer my questions about American Media International and the release of your marketing manual.

BofD: Just do us a favor and stop trying to make it look like we are doing something wrong by offering this information.

TB: I am sure that many will gain much from what is being offered and understand your position. I however, still don't think you should have given away so much data.

BofD: See, now you just turned this so called interview into your own personal commentary.

This is the point where the person being interviewed stood up and left the studio.
