You Have Mail
Ah, the sweet sound of prospects! Tell me something... do you take the time to read your mail?
All those auto responders spewing back unwanted information. How many of you simply delete it? I hope not. As I forge my way through Internet Marketing, I can't help but notice a common trend. Why do so many think that sending a blurb with little or no information about the actual product they are trying to promote actually entices a prospect? Or worse, letting a duplicated web site that everyone else in your chosen product, do the talking and promoting for you? If you don't understand the product you are selling, how do you close the deal? Who's in control of your destiny? You, or the web site? If you're not passionate about what you are selling how do you create the want and need for others to follow your advice? I firmly believe a promotional web site is a tool to enhance what you have to say about your business. You need to convince me that you believe in what you are selling, that its a great opportunity and how will it benefit me. I want to know it from the person who has invested in it. Hopes and dreams are great, but it should never be based on greed. Success is measured in many ways. If your prospect crashes and burns you will lose that opportunity forever. Make the effort to show prospects that you know your product include the "why's", give them a reason to choose to do business with you instead of a web site. Next time you get an offer in your email, and all you can say is ... "man, this guy needs help!" take the time to lend a hand. You'll be surprised what you get in return.

What I think you are saying is to become a leader, right? In Alaska they have a saying, "If you're not the lead dog, the view is always the same". The way to success is helping people for sure and that is by leading them to the goal, not just hitting them in the face with ads.
