Dr. Phil Show and Internet Mistakes
What a truly unbelievable show it was.
All to do with Facebook and MySpace.
Had to watch it completely.
Are we truly willing, ready and able to post shocking and provocative photos of yourself on the Internet? Why would one do that?
It is amazing as to how many are actually doing such a thing.
But are there unforeseen consequences to showing the world your personal life?
The New Female Bonding?
Girls dancing on bars half-naked, passed out on the beach, hugging the porcelain …… these are photos posted for all to "Read The Rest Here"

I agree Wendy! It's different strokes for different folks, as the saying goes.

Can't argue with any of the facts that have been stated.
True to form there are guaranteed other sites out there that have much more graphic things on them
Some kids are most definitely looking for ways to get Attention Guess this is just one of the ways

They do it because they can! And that's right from the mouth of my 25-year old son! While I do not condone such behavior either, I do not want the freedom of the internet curtailed either. After all, look at the news media coverage on T.V. compared to the news I can find on the internet, a whole world of difference.

The sensational aspects of such shows just trigger 'Narcissism" in kids... You know how a two year old reacts when told not to do something? They will do it again, just to see what happens... Transfer that to an 18-25 year old you've got a mix that's potentially loaded with danger....
Fame or Shame, at least it's Attention. And it's not just US kids, either this behavior is being echoed all over the world... You guys are hearing about and seeing stuff on Myspace and Facebook and so on, th

OMG! What am I going to do with you two.....Join you!
I remember many stoooooopid things I've done over the years but to broadcast it? Not likely. I think a lot of the problem is the basic lack of respect in our culture today. I not only did not want to embarrass myself but I did not want to embarrass my family that would have to live with the consequences. Somewhere out there are a lot of mothers unable to hold their heads up and children who don't want to go to school because they face r

Wendy, my dear... There are times and places for everything... Where you live in Canada and where I will live in Chicago, are places that simply don't maintain the Climate or Temperatures for gals to 'Go Wild" much...
Exposing your boobs during the Winter in either place, would surely bring on a case of 'Prunes Gone Wild" more than likely...
I am a guy-- And just the thought of doing that makes my nipples hurt! LOL! :)

Great idea for TV show LOL I'll be looking for you soon Which channel should I check hahaha
Imagine if all the 17 years olds (or younger) watched and now think it is acceptable to drink under age.
Course I thought it was a thrill to drink under age and get into bars. But.......... and have expressed myself as well
Still do but not in such drastic manners (mayhap worse LOL)

I agree with you
Myself I have done pretty dumb things in my day (go figure) LOL but to actually post them for the world to see is just beyond my concept.
Can't argue that the internet has changed drastically over the few years I have been online.

"As The Internet Turns" should become a TV show-- The talk show hosts have very little to be shocked about because they are the originators of what I call "Public Self Debasement for Attention and Dollars"... I, for one, am not a fan of these shows at all, In fact, some of these shows might be the cause of the very same behavior they are "exposing"!...
I certainly am not a fan of controlling peoples lives, especially if these people are not a danger to others, or themselves... I say let th

Wendy,
It all depends on who you are and how you feel, as for me l would not do that, not my style or do l have a need to promote myself in that fashion.................The internet has changed so much and allows way too much freedom for people to do what they like or expose what they feel comfortable with.................
