SNIFFING MANURE?
Well...Here is a thought: Lets all sniff some animal excrement and make some money! I cut this short, but the purpose of the research is to analyze why some new developments near animal farms complain about the odors.
"Purdue students sniff manure for science"
(FROM AP 1/1/08)
"WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University students are making some extra cash through a project that might turn some of their classmates' stomachs — by sniffing livestock excrement. Students earn $30 per session as they take whiffs of a variety of smells collected from barns filled with hogs, cows and chickens for odor research being conducted by Albert Heber, a Purdue professor of agricultural and biological engineering.
The students' work provides Heber with data for his ongoing research on ways to improve methods for estimating a given livestock farming operation's odor emissions."

It would be so great Jenn... You're definitely tempting me! What is your address? LOLLLL
I need a place to stay while looking for a farm!.
Where did u live before Jenn? We actually did think about living on a farm a while back, and looked at a few here in Upstate NY. But, too much "city" in us, and my husband's health made us think twice and ended up staying..
Are there any nursing homes around the farms? LOLLL will reserve one for when it is needed.

Oh yeah...that is why I have brought my family to the 'country'.
Sounds sick...but manure smell doesn't bother me......smells much better than 'city air'
Let's go Hastice! Or better yet...get your booty down here...and lets go play in the pastures...plenty down here!

Jenn...I am a farm girl myself...boy oh boy do I ever miss those days. It was a great way to grow up milking cows and ship, gathering eggs, feeding the animals; cleaning barns was not a fun chore, but had to do it anyway. It is for this reason, knowing the hard work involved in farming that I appreciate every crumb that sits at my table!
Jenn...lets go back to the pasture...no amount of money can replace childhood!
