Zoo Visit with Photos
Today my partner and I decided to give ourselves a day off, and off we went
to the Melbourne Royal Zoological Gardens to spend a few hours.
We must have walked for four hours and also spent about 30 minutes in
brief sitting breaks, and even then we didn't get all around the place.
Here are a couple of pictures we took there, which we really liked, so I
thought I'd share them with you all.
Couldn't resist taking a shot or two of this beautiful white swan - he really wanted
us to feed him, but nothing was available, and you're not allowed to feed the zoo
animals anyway.
These are two of the three Sumatran tiger cubs - well, they look pretty full grown, but they
ARE only two years old, and very playful.
Another shot of the two tiger cubs, just after they had given up chasing a pair of ducks which
were swimming on the pond.

Hi Cheryl,
I took heaps of pictures, but those are the best two. They were having a play fight,but
were in the back of the enclosure behind a tree, so the photos didn't come out well enough.

Don't know whether to be glad you all liked the photos, or sorry, because I've made
your kids decide that you have to take them to the zoo! :-) Enjoy the trip, if you go.

Nothing better in the world then spending a day at the zoo with your family.............wonderful pictures loved them...............had to show them to my kids they also loved them ....they are so cute.....was the reply ................then l heard when are we going back to the zoo................guess what we are going............thank you for reminding me of the things that have a great value in life................and cost nothing but provides us with life time memories...................

Those are really good pics...I can't wait to go back to the zoo!!! I love all the animals there! Most of all the Gorilla's...lol...they are such a hoot!
