So What Did You Wonderful Folks Do During The Apsense Break?
I am glad to say that I actually slept a full 10 hours, ate a great dish of Pasta, Creamed With Mushroom Alfredo and Crab... Started working on my next contest recipe- This dish will be named after one of you fine folks- and the recipe will be shared, when it's fully ready and tested! :)
I also went to the library and started learning all about VISTA, which is a good thing to know, because, this is one strange animal:

I also grabbed my heavier Winter coat out of mothballs, because the weather turned Super Cold, with winds blasting up to 50 miles an hour-- Lots of home damage around, and my beloved Trees took a big hit-- Trees that have been through a Drought aren't as resilient or resistant to winds like this..
I looked in on an elderly Client-- The one who can't cook, and unfortunately was invited (threatened) to a dinner--'twas too gross to describe... Let's just say that my body got rid of it about 45 minutes later... My tastebuds also did their duty by remaining in "Neutral" during the whole (torture) meal...
Martini Hour and a conference with my Muse- ( She is really one hot chick- If a bit on the emphemeral side) another good night's sleep, and after a Bath, some cheesy scrambled eggs and pasta and a pot of The World's Strongest Coffee...
I'm back in your loving Presense... Ready to laff and learn stuff...
What about that, and what about you fine folks? How was your own Apsense Break? Was it funny, sleepy, busy, sexy, happy, anxious, reflective, resourceful?
Don't hesitate to share, I'd love to hear from you! :)

Seems that catching up on work or sleep set the theme for " A Day Without Apsense"... Amazing how something like this can work it's way into your Life so seemlessly, eh?

LOL, Jenny! :)
I was once attacked by a computer hutch (desk) that I was putting together for a friend... it was a kit from a well known Swedish company... The damn thing collapsed on it self while I was under it... Bumps, bruises and cuts, and a whole load of embarassment ( I don't embarass easily) later , after a shot of fine Scotch whiskey I was forced to return that pasteboard and metal monsters to the store! LOL! :)
And I'm not even a Blonde! :)

Etsy is on the list for after the Christmas season! Some serious computer work will have to be done on these sites.!!
And as for your comment about dumb blonds - the best one was an alternative medical treatment for a damaged hand that I was given over the IM system- step by step - involving olive oil and a natural green mud pack product. Now that HAD to be done while I was in front of the computer and with the headphones on - the computer desk , the cables and the swivel chair were not

My pleasure, Jenny! :) Your observation about not being able to paint all over a computer reminds me of that old joke about Blonde secretary who tried to use "white out" on her e-mails... :)
Glad to see that you are busy! Does your company have a presence on ETSY?

It was a great break.!! We are in the middle of the christmas rush and after spending a week running round like a headless chicken. So i painted my little heart out in the workshop and went to bed at a sensible time.

If was as cold in Cali as it was here on Pa., sleeping in the dog house would be a viable option! LOL! :)

Shampooing carpets could be a lot more fun if you could cut, curl and blow dry them... Otherwise I'll leave that chore to the experts! LOL! :)
Yes, I'm a guy who does his Ladyfriends hair every now and then for Special Occasions-- They seem to like it! :)
