No one can time the market for sure, but one can definitely gain far much more returns and in far lesser time frame than your Fixed Deposits or savings account returns ,if invested in quality mid cap or large cap stocks.
The Economy is booming, as a result one can assure good returns in long term if not in the short term. By good I mean over 30% returns.
