What's Your Most Hated Housework Chore ?
Thought I'd see what everyone else chose as their most hated chore.
Today, mine is cleaning venetian blinds. Does anyone have any tips for getting
this done easily and quickly?
A while ago I found some blind cleaners in a little $2 shop, which are quite useful -
they look like tongs with fluffy insides. You run them along each slat of the blind.
It's pretty time consuming though. Today I cheated, and just dusted.
The only reason I actually got around to dusting the blinds in the bedroom is,
today being 37C, and being a total idiot, I took all the curtains down and
washed them. You can't put curtains back up on dirty blinds, now can you? :-)
Of course, tomorrow, my most hated household chore may be the ironing -
I'd rather clean the toilet........
What's yours?

Lisa, it wasn't so much fun in winter, with snow on the ground, and the sheets
freezing in the cold. So glad we don't have to do that! :-)

Ahhh..the sheets, those downy fresh sheets. It was always worth a spankin, to run through the fresh washed sheets, hung in the sun. My mothers clothes line consisted of 4 lines, so I would run through the first section, with the sheets flowing in the wind, the run through the second section....awwhh..the smell...Mmmmmm.. then around the front to my moms awaiting hand on my Beee----hind....lol.

Hi Jen,
Your metabolism is better, and you're always running around doing
housework. Keeps you fit! :-)
Lisa,
The ironing is not something I do very often, only when I have to.
If it can be worn without ironing, then it is! I remember as a child, my
mother doing the laundry by hand, and then ironing EVERYTHING !
Even the sheets - they lay under the other things so they got a bit
straightened out!

Cooking and washing dishes after this hard week with all these starving kids....
That if I ate all the food just one of em ate ...I would have gained 50 lbs
BTW....where does it go...cause I have way more energy it seems than most of them do?

Ironing!
I even get made fun of saying the word with my Southern Accent.
Never lost my accent, even though I've been gone from Georgia for a very long time..lol
I'm clumsy too, I always wind up burning my "dang" arrm. Scars to prove it....many times.
My boys are both into cotton t-shirts too now. Too much iron-in.

Yeah, I should have added it to Lisa's blog, but my brain isn't
working this morning. Too hot for it to get into gear....... or perhaps
it's old age creeping in. :-)
