This Weather Is Going To Kill Me !
This weather is not exactly my favourite temperature - it's 31 C outside, and rising.
The forecast for the day was 25 C, a nice manageable temperature. I think the
global warming is sending our meteorologists crazy, or maybe it's the lack of rain.....
In the next few days, we are supposed to get temperatures over 30 just about
every day, including one day of 38 C. And it's still only Spring.
Give me decent temps to work in - I hate it over about 30C, especially when I have
to go out in the sun.
UV cream is a necessety around here, since the ozone layer has a large hole in it,
down this way (Southern Hemisphere) and lets all those UV rays in. Not too
much fun for someone from the UK who has lily white, burns in mid-winter sun skin!
Can't wait for it to cool down again. Still, we can get the strangest weather
patterns here - it's been known to snow on the high ranges in mid-summer, and
we could certainly use the run-off for the streams and dams. Here's hoping that
we get some rain very soon, and that it cools down.

Another horrible spell of weather - It was 41C yesterday, and they
were forecasting 42 C today.
We've already had a couple of days in the high 30's, so it certainly hasn't
been too pleasant. Very strange, as Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day
were really cool.
I am so glad I had ceiling fans put in to the bedroom and lounge - they
are better for you than A/C, although I do use it sometimes in the study.
Can't work without it

The UK is full of witchcraft and sorcery? Good for them - bring back witchcraft.
I'm down here in Australia ! The hole in the ozone is over the Antarctic
and spreading our way.
Although I do admit to having been born in the UK...............
