OK you want to talk about one hot momma!?!
Her name is Jennifer Michelle Sasser....and she is PISSED!
I purchased a prepaid Master Card from a store it is called MiO
DO NOT FALL VICTIM TO THIS!
I put $300 dollars...handed cash right there in the store. So I could pay my bills online. Now I have used prepaid credit cards and have loved them!
BUT THIS COMPANY.....
I went to 'activate' my card. And they so very nicely told me that I could not use the card I purchased *btw I read the small fine print when I purchased and in no way was this said*
for 7-10 days. I had to wait for the REAL Master Card.
I about went postal. So I demanded my money back IMMEDIATELY!!! They so nicely told me that it would take 7-10 WEEKS!!!!!
But....BUT I had another alternative! Yes! I could pay $15 to get my 'real card' in 2-3 business days!
OMG!
DO NOT EVEN FALL FOR THIS CARD! mio

You see those three letters......DO NOT HAND THEM YOUR MONEY!
I handed the cashier my $300 to pay all my bills online..to get them paid.....
When OBVIOUSLY...I should have drove my ass there instead.
HOW THE HELL CAN THIS HAPPEN???
I have to go collect myself....I don't even know what to think!

Wow! I couldn't believe your post. They are lucky you just went ballistics and didn't drop someone on the spot. Nice control. I have a link to a website where you can report this kind of crummy business practice. If you would like it just send me a message. I don't want spammer as a title, but I use it for just this type of thing as that is what is was made for. It must work as EBay backed off of me in a dispute between us when I told them I was going to report them there.

Then I had to spend the time to 'activate' my card....which ended up taking many decline's...and 24 hrs of BULL CRAP...no wonder I am sick!

I was so surprised to hear that a credit card place did this.... I'll definitly be carefull not to do business with them...

OK UPS just delivered my master card.
I can go pay my bills now. But not with the $300
Since I had to pay $15 to get my own money.
Well, anyhow I don't have to go postal.

I handed my physical money....to purchase a CARD....to help make things less impossible.....
nothing was done online...only HOPING to pay my bills online

HERE IS A TIP: Whenever I find something online which I want to purchase, I add up all the associated costs (if a digital delivery product then no extra cost is owing).
Then I transfer from one account (via phone banking, never via internet banking) to the paying card account that I will be using , not just the exact amount, but I also throw in an extra 5%. I do this so that if anyone decides to hack into that account and take any funds out of it, the most they would be able to get is about $

Here's where you can get a free mastercard in a couple of weeks that will allow you to add cash directly or even have your wages sent by your employer direct deposit.
Call Western Union at 1-800-325-6000. Press Option 4, then option 2. Give them your name, address and phone number and a 4 digit pin. You'll get your card in about two weeks and you can add cash at any western union office. There is a $30 minimum and a $4.95 monthly fee. But it's a real mastercard and can be used just like a credit

It is a shame that cash paying customers are frowned on they even have commercials now designed to impress on you how great having a credit or check card is. These prepaid cards are really taking advantage of people who are putting money on them all the time. My philosophy is simple, "If you don't want my cash, kiss my ____"

No, see I have my own bank account...but do not like to use it.
I found getting temporary credit cards have worked really well.
But this one......brought the horns out for sure!
I handed my money ...that I could of just went and paid myself...but ok...call me lazy!
I live in the boonies and have to travel what feels half the world to pay. I learned the hard way not to put my check in the mail....because of check washing. I had a check washed...and drained my account.
