 Creative Spot Lite has free candle making lessons for those of you who are attracted to this awesome art... If you think that candle-making is a mystery, you are right, but almost anything can seem that way, until you learn from someone who does it for a living! :)

 I can't stress that value of learning how to make stuff enough ( Rhyme un-intended), in these less that pleasant times....

 When you need to bust stress, and make something wonderful for maybe a little profit, too... Arts and Crafts fits the bill beautifully...

 I remember back a few years (OK, maybe a lot of years) when I was to make a "Command Appearance" at a client's thanksgiving dinner...

 I knew what he was up to, because he had three unmarried daughters that he wanted to get (rid of) married, and  I knew that I was gonna get the royal treatment... Since he was a Good Client, there wasn't any simple way to get myself out of this fix... It's not that his daughters weren't sweet gals, it's just that I don't like people setting me up, dammit!

 Plus, the fact that NOBODY else was interested in them also gave me the shivers....

 Well, I got myself really dressed up, nice black Italian suit, and all that, but when I  got ready to leave for the party...

 I noticed that there was a bare spot on my kitchen wall... That did it! I grabbed a brush and paint and a sponge, and started marble-lizing the wall... It took me about 45 minutes, and the results were quite astonishing, and, I add-- The stress-ful feelings of attending that dinner (meat inspection) were completely quelled... (A bit of Johnnie Walker scotch whiskey helped, too...)

 Well, the dinner party was exactly what I had expected, each one of the gals kept trying to impress me by filling my plate(s) with dishes that they created... I was very polite, and tasted them all, and complimented them when warrented...

 I wasn't about to be a liar about their foods, I will always stress honesty when comes down to foods beverages, and I am not going to hedge-walk with my opinions, even though those three gals were bigger than me, so there! -------
