Big Food, Big Flames, Second Degree Burns! Welcome To My Renaissance Roast, Everybody!
I had to wait for the October(?) heat-wave to stop before I could do this year's backyard Renaissance Roast... so I'm about six weeks behind- grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!:(
Anyway, with cooler weather, the prospect of contracting heat-sickness, while trying cook up a big meal over flames has vanished, thankfully... so I went about it:
Finding racks of Beef Ribs at $1.00 a pound was a good deal! They are mainly bones anyway, but they taste great!
Also, finding big turkey drumsticks, at 39 cents a pound was very good, too!
Big Food includes, Idaho roasting potatos- and big Jersey corn-
Simple cooking, just rub everything with Adobo- and fire up the grill! Please don't imitate my habit of trying to turn foods on an open-flame grill barehanded, it's a Guy Thing- and a stupid one at that! LOL! :0
I'll be smoke-cooking these big foods practically all through the Autumn season- so I can have a taste of them when Winter sets in...
You folks who are getting set for Spring elsewhere in the world, will probably have fun, if your weather pattern stays true...
I have no idea what the weather here in the States is really going to be from day to day!

I usually try to get some Extra grilling/ bar-b-queing in this time of year as well... adds a little flavor to the freezer :-)
