How Would You Like Your Surf And Turf? ( Seafood And Steak)
Ahhhhhhhhhh! The Ultimate Celebration Meal! I do celebrate the entire month of October because I was born on the first of the month, and that was so long ago that Dinosaurs still roamed the planet...
If I hadn't learned to escape the beasties in that first month, I wouldn't be here talking to you about the world of dining's favorite combination! :)
Surf and Turf used to be only a top quality steak like a New York Strip combined with a steamed or broiled Maine lobster.
Nowadays the combo has stretched out to include the improbable combo of a fishcake placed on top of a hamburger! Hmmmmmmmmmmm....
But anyway you find it, The "Surf and Turf" remains a beautiful and tasty treat!
My Favorite combo is a Filet Mignon, Stuffed with Crabmeat and Served with Chicken and Pasta Salad, so I guess you could say that I am enjoying a Surf and Turf with a Bird in a Nest- that's restaurant talk! :)
Tell me about your favorite combos upscale or not... Believe me I really enjoy all kind of foods, From Po' Boys to Panatone'...
Lemme hear you talk about food that's dear to your heart! :)

Hi, Fishie!
Prime Rib seem to have become a step child in the kitchen's of most restaurants because it requires a mastering of two things... keeping it tender , cooking it without drying it out...
The main thing is that some cooks forget to age it, at least 10 days or more-- Aged Prime Rib is more easily handled and prepared... And simply cooked. :)

ahhhh yes, mmmmmm prime rib!

The sign of a great Steak House is either how ell they make a simple hamburger or meatloaf or the unbelievably tough-to-cook right Prime Rib.. had one at a great Casino buffet years ago that was cooked perfectly...
I like mine, again- Super Rare, and these days- Most places refuse to cook it that way! :(

That's the whole idea, Fishie! :)
People who can enrich their thinking enough to picture their perfect meal, with all it's fine elements, are destined to be creative enough to transfer their vision to others... A very good skill to have! :)
Practice thinking in visual terms and writing in them as well... Yummy thoughts make for a happier You! :)
