"Big Black Cauldron, Boil And Bubble!" Will Drinking This Much Coffee Get Me In Trouble?
I love my coffee and I drink it in copious amounts without ill effects, in fact, coffee not only stimulates my body, but also creates a noticable mental lift in me that occurs when I drink a certain amount during the day...
I actually take the time to brew my coffee- not in a device, like those souless electric things, but in a real pot or percolator...
I even sometimes roast the beans or at least heat the pre-ground grains before I slow-brew fine coffees from Puerto Rico, Jamaica and Ethiopia... among other fine places that grow the very best...
I've got several friends who been duped into drinking "coffee" that isn't real and hoping that that stuff would keep them healthy, while avoiding real coffee's so-called bad side effect...
I really wonder what they are talking about-- Unless one is sensitive to caffeine, I don't really see a problem in drinkg all the real coffee that you care to consume.
Coffees will vary in their acidity so, I prevent this by neutralising the acid with some eggshells tossed into my brewing pot... It old fashionesd but it works very well, and can make the most modestly priced (Cheap) coffees taste better that anything that the" More-Bucks" chains can come up with! :)
I happily keep my pantry stocked with spices and extracts to flavor my coffee, and for Valentine's Day-- That Cherry Liquer I have gets mixed with some sweet creamy coffee and a little Southern Comfort or Irish Mist...
Talk about a Lover's Drink! :)
Fun video to enjoy with your coffee (and booze)! :)

I've been paid to brew coffee for one of my clients... They just can't seem to get the knack and timing down.... or the skill to strain out the grinds without a filter.
Geez! If Modern tech can make a person so dependent on the craftwork of others, it's no wonder why retro is coming back in style!

Lol Catz. Actually my caffeine comes from Mt Dew. But any soda's are hard for me to drink. I have to let them go flat before I can drink. The carbonation kills my throat. I know...I am weird!

Why would anybody drink coffee when there's Dr. Pepper?

A handful of uncooked beans will work, too... The alkaloids neutralizes the acid in coffee, making for one very smooth cup of Java...
Be sure to wash the albumin (the clear stuff) off of the eggshells first, so you don't get foam in your brew! :)

The best coffee in the world is strong and sweet with cream and just a hint of peppermint!

Mmmmmm ~~ the smell of Real Roasted Coffee!!
Ah! I can hear it
perking out a tune
whilst I wait
ever so patiently to delight once again
in the beauty
of a hot steaming cup
with my feet dangling over the edge
of the deck
in the briskness of the day...
Warms my heart just thinking about it... I can smell it now. Did you make enough to share? LOL
It sure beats the canned french roast anytime (which USED to be my FAV)

I too love Perked coffee
But don't you know coffee is coffee
and
Booze is booze
Should never mix the two LOL
I both coffee and booze straight up hahahah
