In the early days, my own inexperience was really showing and I didn't even realize it! :(

I would sign up to promote some excellent products and services and my sales would get to a Roaring FLOP!... and I would be puzzled as to why for weeks!

It never had occured to me that people would see my affiliate number or even email- simply delete it... perhaps to put their own there and steal my advertising, or spam me by harvesting my email address right from the link... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

There are huge risks to promoting bare affiliate links, and that's why the huge success of sites like hotshorturl.com and tinyurl.com are such a big hit on the internet... if not with customers, at least with us affiliate marketers cuz they shorten URL's and make them more appealing...

The problem is that when they are clicked the reveal your affiliate links anyway- if your product doesn't redirect, and the game is on again...

Back in 2006, I was lucky to find an actual CLOAKING tool that really works but even it had affiliate link "bare-ness":

So what's a marketer to do?

Get Pro tips, that's what- the following of good advice always helps:

Our fellow webmasters can help us solve problems that we normally have to throw money at or simply do without!

This guy had me cloaking my links like a pro for free in minutes! :)

Even though the Link Guard site might be a little quicker for some, and it's free- I want to insure my sales, especially for the product in my inventory that costs $300, 000!

I get one HECK of a commission on that one! :)
