Do you already have a website? Have you ever checked your statistics to
see what your visitors are searching for to find you? If you haven't
you are missing an important piece to the puzzle of website success.

If you don't have visitors or many then maybe you have the wrong
keywords and content on your website. Quick - fix this or keep losing
opportunities. I say this but I am also guilty of not enough SEO. It
takes work and time to complete that work so know your priorities and
what you want to accomplish in a day.

When I started with Squidoo I was pleased with the fact that most of
the website groundwork was done and ready. All I needed to concentrate
on was the content and keywords... cool.

I have a the google toolbar installed in my firefox browser and find it
a quick and easy solution for keyword search. You see when I start to
type something I hope other people are looking for I start typing the
word/s slowly into the search box and pay attention to the drop menu
which starts to list possible searches. These possibilities happen to
be the top searches on google for what I am beginning to spell... very
cool.

This is how I got the name for my website http://www.simplebeautytips.comas well as others. (I am amazed that the domain name was still
available). It get traffic basically because of it's name because I
have not been promoting it.

So when I went to Squidoo - I did the same. I started typing simple
tra.... and low and behold there in the top searches on the google
search bar was simple travel tips. I then search on squidoo - it was
available so I started right away. This is a new squidoo and I need to
add more content. What I have noticed, however, is that the only search
term to find me so far is "simple travel tips" and that traffic is
coming from google.

Squidoo is very google-friendly so my best suggestion is using keywords
straight away especially in your title for your lens. Relevant content
is going to be the additional boost with keyword included in your
content. Just as important is tagging your keywords.

When you first build your lens it only asks you for a couple tags. Once
you are editing your lens you will notice a block on the right for
tags. This module helps you add more tags with suggestions based on
your current tags and content... very cool.

Are you still reading? Go use your favorite keyword search tool and start building your Squidoo lensright now. If you already have a squidoo go add some relevant content
too keep your site fresh and check your tags for appropriateness. Enjoy!
