During my recent adventure into online business. I have seen so many offers and websites that promise millions in a short period of time. I know that building a long term successful business doesn't work like that. Oh sure a few bucks can be made quickly enough. But the real big profits aren't there until you put in your time of planning out your strategy and working it. What I mean is you have to treat your online business as a real business. I think a lot of people don't understand this.
Most people that want to create an online business are just opportunity seekers. They join one program and try it out for a week or so. Then they get an email or find a website while surfing the net and decide that one would be the ticket to riches. So join up they do. The whole process continues over and over until one day the opportunity seeker decides to just give up. They give up on owning their own business. They give up on their dreams. They give up on a better life for them and their families. Its sad to see.
Although I haven't built my online business to the point that I want it to be yet. I am on track to a very successful and lucrative lifestyle. I am on track because I have a strategy, goals, benchmarks and I have hit every one so far. The trick to a successful online business is to treat it as a real business. The secret to success is hard work and perseverence. You have to behave like a business person and understand success does not happen overnight. You have to educate yourself on being a business person first and operating a business second. You should consider your education in business as highly important.
What I would like to suggest is if you think you are an opportunity seeker then you probably are. Recognizing this will help you turn things around and become more focused on building a successful business. Stop being distracted by all the bogus websites and emails and concentrate on your business. Focus and get your attention on your strengths and weaknesses so you can use your strenghts and improve your weaknesses. Just always keep in mind that it won't happen overnight.
If you study the most successful people like Bill Gates, Jack Welsh, Mike Filsaime, Ken Evoy, and others. You will find that they did not become a success overnight. They worked hard on themselves and their business. They educated themselves on what it takes to be successful. They did not jump from one opportunity to another and cross their fingers in hopes of becoming rich. You can learn from these people, I did.
I hope that a few eyes have been opened now and maybe some of the scams and bogus offers will get what they deserve, nothing from you.
