How to Avoid Information Overload
If you have been trying to market online for more than five minutes, you probably know all about this.
Literally tens of thousands of your fellow marketers desperately trying to get their offer in front of you. Countless Biz Opps, information products, so called advertising resources, and God knows what else. They play on your weakness, your desires, your fears. Some even try to guilt you into thinking that if you don't persue their offer, you aren't good enough, you don't deserve success. And there are even those that are just outright offensive!
Now, don't get me wrong, it's not like noneof these offers are any good, it's just that too many people jump into these things on Tuesday thinking that they are going to be on easy street by Thursday, except that by the time Wednesday comes around, they realize they have no clue what they are into! That might be a bit of an exageration, but I'm sure you get the drift.
So, before I add to your overload burden, lets get to the point.

I had posted this blog about 2 months ago now, didn't really know what I was doing or what blogging really was at the time but had to start somewhere. At some point the last part of the article disappeared, could have been something I did..lol! The missing part stated that you needed to set goals and acheive them, thats when Karen showed up and pointed out that goals are a waste of time, rather, envision what you are going to accomplish and it will become reality. Thank you for that Karen! Always a pleasure to get helpful insight from other people with serious mindsets.
So how do you have vision? To me my vision is everything I am about, everything I want to be, everything I KNOW I am going to be. It is knowing what you REALLY want out of life and that you WILL get it. Life is the most beautiful gift you could possibly have! Forget all the BLATENT SHOUTING online or offline for that matter. Get clear in your mind what SUCCESS looks like for YOU! Know that you do deserve good things in your life, we are all worthy and we all live in a world of ABUNDANCE. Know what you want out of life, see it, feel it, know that it is yours and NOTHING will stop you! Opportunity is there for you at every waking minute, never worry about the blatent ads, or what people say to you, they mean nothing, only you can decide what is right for you, no-one else! Practice this and I know you will soon be on the path to your own perfect life, you will soon be the perfect version of yourself. As always, all feedback is appreciated!

Hi Cheryl,
Goals. vision, it's all really a matter of perception. I basically agree with you but stress that it is not entirely nessecary to know each little step, I have instincts and I trust them. They lead me where I need to go, because I never lose sight of the vision in my mind that keeps me moving forward. Without the intended end result, you will never get anywhere, because you have no direction. Think we basically agree on this, take care!

I have to say that goals are a priority for me. The difference is I have a big goal in mind at the end of the rainbow so to speak but I can't just jump from point A to point Z. That's where the goal setting becomes a problem. To get to Z you must work your way through the alphabet. Each letter is a new milestone in your progress. You must set achievable small goals that will lead you to your larger goal. Envisioning is really just a roundabout way of saying "goal", You are envisioning whe

Hi Garnet,
I am glad you posted this and I also believe Karen's perspective to be a key point. I have experienced the goal setters who give up to easily. Focus and determination arekeys to any successful business.

Hi Dennis and Nannette,
Yes, the problem I had when I first started out is I started forgetting about programs I had joined. Eventually, I sat down and realized which ones I was passionate about, then it became easy to simply ignore everything else and I actually started to focus what was really important to me.
Wish you the best with your website, and I'm sure you'll figure out what is right for you.

I agree with you Garnet!
I just realized this when I've started to create my own website. I really need to distinguish and focus on what I really want for my business. Its exciting in the beginning to sign up to various free offers online.. and then realizing the commitment that I need to put in that business will back me off later on because of the number I have signed up.......Can't manage all of them at the same time. So what I do is to give up some of them and one by one choose and stu

To succeed in Network Marketing actually to succeed in anything and everything we do is by taking small steps.
If we pursue a goal in small steps example take an inch its a cinch and by the yard its hard
Love those words and I live by them in everything that I do

Hello Karen,
Thanks for your comments!
While it may be a matter of perspective to some, I have to say that I Absolutely LOVE the way you put it! When you KNOW what you are going to do, NOTHING can stop you.
Thanks again Karen, you've really proven that we are all in this together.

Hi Garnet,
I agree with almost all of your post. Focus is critical. That's where having a team really is a huge benefit. Talk to anyone who is REALLY making a living online and they will tell you they do not work alone. They work with a team of people all of whom contribute their special talents, and all of whom help each other to stay focused.
Where we disagree is on the goal setting. I don't set goals, nor do I teach others to. Setting goals gives an excuse to not achieve them. In
