Let's Prove That TEAMWORK WORKS!!
I've had this crazy idea for several years now, the notion that I could place ads in the usual places-safelists, etc.-for marketers who would like to "team up" with me and have a genuine discussion about what works and what doesn't and that maybe we'd actually help EACH OTHER in our respective programs. I'm no computer genius; I have several tools available to build my own websites but I have no clue as to how to even get started, so I guess I haven't been going about it the right way. Still, I was really excited at first by the response I received! It seemed that there were loads of people like me who were looking for Internet friends to work with!
Turns out most of them were just looking to promote their programs and not to even listen to my offers! Same thing happened when I first got started in Internet marketing and went all out and got myself a toll-free number. People would call it at my expense and leave a VM saying they were interested in my opportunity. OOOOHHHH, I'd get SO excited!! I got a customer, I got a customer!!! Nope, shot down again...they were calling to tell me how I could make so much MORE money with their program, or that I could use THEIR program to promote my own and make so much more...
With the advent of APSense I'm beginning to feel vindicated, to believe there really ARE people like me who will promote their own stuff but also are genuinely interested in getting to know other marketers and seeing what they may have to offer! Let's show those who are only out for themselves that working together really has its benefits and that by being a part of a team and not just standing alone we can all be better off in the long run.
There are so many programs and compaies, so many products and services on the 'net that there's no reason we can't all help each other! Every program isn't for every marketer, obviously, but as a team we should take the time to look at what others have to offer and if they have something we want or NEED we should give our business to our teammate.
Here are just a few quick examples of what I'm talking about... We all need advertising and maybe someone else in this groups has something you could use...some of us may be in the market for other promotional or marketing tools such as auto-responders, websites, e-mail accounts, tech support, telecommunication products and services, the list goes on and on...all of us have lives "offline" so obviously we use all kinds of other products and services in our "other" life. Cleaning products, nutritional supplements, health products, pet food, "people" food and snacks, you name it it's for sale online and chances are someone in APSense is selling it! My point is we don't have any obligation to support our fellow members but it sure would be nice if as a matter of principle we'd do so! That would be a tiny start in my plan of "Saving the World" (That was a subtle hint to join my new group...LOL!)
