Maybe I finally found my niche!!!
If you have read my brief bio, you'll know I have been trying to do something via online for about a year now. I think part of my problem is that nothing really excited me and I had no product to sell - I was marketing... marketing. And that got me know where. But as my full-time profession is a librarian, I continue to work with various technologies, and one of which that we are working with are digital online audio books that our population can "check out" to listen to for 3 weeks on their home computer/PDA/CD, etc. This week, I came across a site called "Leisure Audio Books" - it's the same concept, except I can own my own store and get a commission!! I am so excited by this program that I have been steadily pushing it out as quickly as possible. I would be interested to hear from anyone else who has joined this program and what success they have had. If you are interested, here is the link for their affiliate program: http://2390.leisureaudiosales.com
And their retail link (where you can buy & download an audio book): http://2390.leisureaudiosales.com/retail.cgi

Well, if you use a blog to promote yourself, how would you get people to view your blog? I know that once a blog is posted and you have it set so that anyone can view it, anybody accessing the Internet can get there, one way or the other. But I do not believe blogs are indexed in the search engines, so other than telling people verbally about it, how else would you promote it?
So far this week, I have had some success on getting people to Leisure Audio Books (up to 6 referrals so far). That

Hi and welcome to Absense. Have you consider using a blog to promote your self? The Reason I mention this is because successful use of a buisness blog can create a buzz about what you are doing. Combine that with Apsense and other social programs you are on the right track.
Next I would be looking to find as many free online directories to list my site. Begin a link trading program to give your site exposure.
Hope this gets you to thinking and have a great day.

Hello Jamen, How are you? My name is Shaunta. I am from North Carolina. I just joined Apsense yesterday, but I have been successful in Direct Matches and Global Domain International due to an awesome marketing tool. It is called "Network Star Team" . Take a look.

I would love to hear where people are successfully getting their referrals. I have received 2 referrals so far, but I think that is because of Apsense. My traffic exchanges are producing a lot of hits, but very few click thrus. Anyway, please let me know! Thanks a million!

Now if only I can get referrals. I just need to find the right place to market this great product. Unfortunately, I am not able to market this publicly where I work (though I might try some other "schemes"). Right now, I am just trying traffic engines - using Forever Traffic, TS25, WebBizInsider, SurfDummy, and BionicHits. I really do not want to use 30+ traffic engines - I only have so many hours in the day, with 10 or so going to work, another 3 going to family, and whatever remains divide
