Article Marketing - Does This Topic Bring Any Questions to Mind?
When I first started online in the late 1900s I understood then that article marketing was important. My problem was a fear that what I wrote would not be accepted as good enough to publish. I tried one content exchange site that never responded to my submission and that "confirmed" my fear. eeeekkkks. For awhile I put submitting articles out of my mind.
At the time I was working full time plus offline so I was not dedicating much time to internet interests. But the real point here is that my fear really sidetracked me and I lost valuable time because of it. A couple years ago the department where I worked was eliminated and I was laid off. I made a decision to do all possible to work from home rather than go back and work for someone else. But I didn't start writing for submissions right away.
In 2005, after much personal pep-talk I decided to try again after I heard of website called EzineArticles. My article was accepted! Shortly after I came across a free script (you need to understand here about my passion for creating websites). The script was for an article directory which I dubbed AritcleBlender.com. Since then I have I have seen "the good, the bad and the ugly" of article marketing.
You benefit when you submit articles. Let me correct myself, when you submit articles created by a human with the good intentions of imparting something of value to their readers. This is not to say I haven't let articles slip into my database that are rather questionable to value. These people will benefit from a link back to their site and a "bit more" search engine popularity. The real benefit of article marketing though is when an article is "picked up" by a publisher (blogger, webmaster/mistress, or ezine publisher). This makes your article "super viral" and your benefits increase.
When you submit an article you include a resource box. This is a topic in itself. Let me just say here that your resource box needs to grab your readers attention and entice them to click your link. I specifically wrote link because you may be tempted to overload this area with link. This can backfire on so many levels. To start the best article directories don't allow more than a couple links 1 or 2 maybe 3. It looks spammy and if it does get accepted by the article directory may not be picked up by publishers who are required to keep your resource box together with the article.
This info is a tip on the iceberg and if you haven't started article marketing yet you most likely have lots of questions. There is a lot more info now than when I started. . There is even a free ebook on the the subject located in the members area of articleblender.com. Still I have been asked by many for help so have decided to create a learning video.
Please let me know your questions here or send me a message. I will collect the questions before starting the video. The video will be free for those who seek my help.

Hi Graham,
I wonder where or what is not clear and causing confusion because if you are confused you can not be alone and something I have done is unclear.
ArticleBlender is an article directory like Ezine Articles granted being a directory owner I recognize Ezine Articles came before and leads the pack as far as directories goes.
Authors submit articles and publishers (bloggers, webmasters/mistresses, and ezine publishers come to the directory and can use them when they include the author's

Hi Shine,
I'm a little confused about article blender. What I read on the one hand suggests that the program will create one of type articles from the list of articles that is available
On the other hand I see that it is an article directory like say Ezine Articles.
Which end of the bull do I have hold of?
Sorry I'm a bit thick at times.
