Making Money on the Internet

I would like to learn how to market my services and products on the internet so that I can make honest money. I am involved in several business opportunities and have not had much luck making much money. Although I have made some money, it's nothing to shout about. I don't really know how to use groups effectively. I welcome comments from anyone who has been successful in making money on the internet. What suggestions do you have? How can I use groups effectively, why should I use them.
