10 Tips On How To Introduce Your Pet To Your New Baby

Suppose you are 8 months of pregnancy and returning from the baby scan clinic after your ultrasound scan and your pet jumped on your belly to welcome you into your house. This will worsen the situation. It will be better if you prepare yourself slowly from the first to welcome your new baby.

7. After the baby arrives, take your pet for a long walk. Make sure your pet loses a lot of energy. When entering the home, your pet will sniff a new scent in the house. If you have introduced your pet with the smell, it will be familiar to them.

8. Allow your pet to sniff your baby. Make sure you keep your baby at a distance from your pet. Do not bring your baby too close to your pet. By this, your pet will get used to this action and get closer to your baby in a friendly way.

9. It is important to your pet to feel secure. Your pet will not need special attention to feel secure. Take your pet for a walk, maintain a routine and play with them. It will make them feel secure.

10. Make a small step at once. Do not rush into anything and do not pressurize your dog to do anything. Remember, it will take time to get accustomed with above all of this.
